The Reid's have been in the model aircraft hobby business since 1983. My wife Juanita and I have decided to sell our plans and fiberglass parts business to devote more time to all our grandkids and for me to do more building and flying. Hello Everyone, As the new owner of Reid’s Model Products I look forward to providing the same quality products and service as Reid’s customers have come to expect, as well as adding some exciting new products. An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer by trade, I have been a modeler for over 40 years, beginning with free flight and control line as a boy with my father. While having built and flown many types of models, I quickly found that scale was my favorite….particularly Golden Age airplanes. Over the years I have done on-line builds of my own models at www.rcscalebuilder.com , where my handle is “monocoupe”. In 2009 I had the pleasure of competing at the U.S. Scale Master Championships with my own design ¼ scale Lockheed Vega.
